A DAY IN AUSTIN

A mini travel day

What a day!! Never in my life did I ever imagine having the opportunity to travel to Austin with Uber, but sometimes life throws the craziest opportunities and you just say YES. I’ve always wanted to travel to Austin, so when Uber asked me to go and attend their Radio Live event during the Austin City Limits Festival it was a no-brainer. Plus Jason got to go with me to help take photos and any opportunity to travel with him is so special to me.

One thing I have always admired about Uber is their dedication to provide continual opportunities for their driver-partners. They truly provide the ability to work flexible hours which allows driver-partners to pursue their dreams!

This past weekend Uber offered local driver-partners the chance to perform on their Radio Live stage which was right on the way into the Austin City Limits Festival. They also had a cover band playing all day, and you could even vote on what song you wanted them to play next! Making it a fun and interactive experience. Plus the stage looks just like a car radio, so how cool is that!?

Even though our time in Austin was short, it was well worth the trip. It’s not every day you get to go to a new city and listen to live music!
