THANK GOODNESS IT'S FRIDAY!!

Hi guys!! Wow it's been a HOT sec since I've really sat down to write for the blog. I just wanted to give you a little life update on here since it's easier than trying to fit it all into an Instagram caption! For some reason the blog has always felt so formal to me, and maybe that's because of the time it takes to create a post.... but most of the time I think I just get so invested into cute quick captions that I forget to really let you in on my life!

HERE'S what's been on my mind lately

I would have graduated this month, and that's the craziest thing to me. I still wonder some days if life would be any different had I stayed in school. All of a sudden life feels a little bit more real. I don't know if real is the right word, but what I mean is I'm no longer a girl who would be a junior or senior in college.... I'm just working now like everyone else! It's a weird feeling to describe.

WORK. WORK. WORK.

Besides that lingering feeling (lol) I've also just been super busy with a lot of small projects. Thankfully I can see the finish line to this month, but man has there been a lot going on in my mind lately. Lot's of due dates!! I thought those were supposed to go away when I left school (not really but kinda...)!

Jason is home!

I'm so thankful that Jason has been home recently though,. I honestly have no idea how I would have gotten everything done without him! That brings me to update #2 - We have been playing around with the idea of him helping me more and working his other jobs less... If that gives you a better idea of just how busy I've been! We've both been really feeling the effects of life on the road, and if there is a way that he can stay home we are going to try to find it!

my new found love for youtube!

So why haven't I been super active on the blog? Other than projects that I'm working on, youtube has been taking up the rest of my free (work) time! I don't know what clicked! Maybe it was the honeymoon vlogging or possibly my new series - bychloewen $25 Thrift Challenge - but whatever it was, I've been LOVING filming and posting to Youtube! I feel like it shows a different side of me that the blog + Instagram just aren't able to.

Marriage + our home!

Aside from working and readjusting to life after a honeymoon, we've been working really hard at putting our home together and starting our lives together and a married couple! So far since Jason has moved in we've gotten a new mattress, painted every room, got a new kitchen table, put up shelving, bought all of the plants, got new bedside tables, finally bought a TV, and got a new couch!!

Thanks to Burrow we have more seating for friends to come over and watch all of the Netflix! We ended up getting the 3 seater in the color Brick and I'm so glad I let Jason talk me into getting a red couch!! Of course I gravitated towards the neutral or gray, but now that we have the red couch I can't image the space with any other color! It's the perfect size + we got the matching ottoman!

It was literally so easy to put together (I've got a vlog coming soon about it)! Probably took us 15 minutes, but that was while I was trying to take pics + vlog so you know... It's mine and Ryleigh's favorite place to cuddle after a long day! I always told myself that I wouldn't let her on the couch, but how could I say no to that pup!!

Anyway that's where you'll find us tonight! A chill Friday night, sitting on the couch, watching Netflix!
