CREATING A HOME TOGETHER
BUILDING A REGISTRY
One of my favorite things about getting married has been building the registry. It's the one chance to really go all out and ask for the things you need in order to build a home with your soon-to-be spouse! I've partnered with Wayfair to share some of my top registry picks and hopefully give you all some ideas on what to register for as well.
Β
When it comes to building a registry, you want to make sure where you build it has items for all over the home! The great thing about Wayfair is that they have items for the kitchen, bathroom, living room, and basically any other room in the house. They also have furniture and larger items that you may need as well.
One thing that helped me was registering for one room at a time. It kept me on track and helped me make sure I didn't skip around and forget key items!
CONVENIENCE IS KEY!!!
If you're getting married and registering MAKE SURE that guests can buy and ship directly to your house. It will save you so much time and energy, plus coming home to a package at your front door is the best feeling!
Wayfair offers free shipping and will ship the item straight to the couples home. They also have white glove delivery for larger items like furniture + access to registry specialist who can offer personalized support.
DON'T FORGET!
Another important thing is returns... Maybe the item wasn't what you expected in person or maybe you got double of something. You need the convince of quick and easy returns!! Wayfair offers an extended 90 day return policy, so you can take your time and really go through everything you got and decide what you need to return!
THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO REMEMBER....
Have fun!! This is an exciting time, so register of the things you WANT! Even if it may seem ridiculous or that no one will buy it, register for it anyway. You may be surprised!! Build your home the way you've dreamed of!
