A Trip to Dallas, TX for LTK Conference! What to Wear, Where to Eat, and more!
This past week I had the incredible opportunity to attend the 2022 LTK Conference in Dallas, TX. For the past 6 years Iβve watched others attend the conference and dreamed of one day being invited myself. This year that dream came true! I vlogged the trip (you can watch the video below), but also wanted to make a blog post here to give you a breakdown of my outfits and share a little bit about the conference and my experience!
SUNDAY
I was originally supposed to fly into Dallas on Monday, but a few days prior, Tarte sent over an invite to a birthday party for Maureen (Tarte Founder). So, at the last minute, I moved my flight up and arrived a day early for the celebration! This is so unlike me to change travel plans that last minute, but I really wanted to be there for the Tarte team. It also ended up being a great change, because I was able to check into the hotel early to get settled in before the conference. I ended up boarding my flight Sunday right after church and had a smooth travel day overall! Once I got to Dallas, I got an Uber to the Adolphus Hotel where I didnβt have a ton of time before the party that night; so, I quickly dropped my bags, touched up my makeup, changed out of my airport clothes, and left for Bar Eden where the Tarte party was!
Maureen and the rest of the Tarte family have always been focused on giving back; this party was specially for giving to teachers and fulfilling their teacher wishlists! They shared a Google doc with us to share with you all if youβre a teacher or you know a teacher who would want to add their wishlist to the Tarte database for a chance to be cleared!

MONDAY
Since I got to Dallas a day early, I was able to take Monday a bit slower. I slept in a little then walked to Merit Coffee Co., which is one of mine and Jasonβs favorite coffee shops! When we went to Austin in 2020, we would run to grab coffee at Merit every morning, so it felt necessary to visit the Dallas location. I sadly didnβt get there early enough to get the Tacodeli breakfast tacos, but I did get an oat bar and coffee! After I did some work at Merit, I went to Revolver Tacos for lunch and took it back to the hotel to get ready for the LTK Con check in. After check in, where they had Anine Bing tote bags filled with LTK items waiting for us, we had networking time in the Brand hall which had tons of brands that we got to meet! It was incredibly special meeting my Lulu & Georgia content team and seeing the Petal & Pup team again!

TUESDAY
Tuesday was the official first day of the conference! We had a quick grab and go breakfast to start off the day then went straight into the main-stage speakers. We got to hear from Amber Venzbox (CEO of LTK), a creator panel, brand panel, and Shea McGee. After the main-stage event, we broke for lunch which was hosted by DSW, followed by brand roundtables, where I got to chat with reps from Spanx and Urban Outfitters! Then it was time for dinner, where I went across the street to grab food before the Abercrombie & Fitch party!

WEDNESDAY
Canβt even lieβ¦ I woke up Wednesday morning EXHAUSTED from the full day before! I grabbed breakfast then headed to a social interview for LTK (you might see it on their IG). Then I immediately went to more brand roundtables with ILIA Beauty and it Cosmetics! For lunch I went to uptown Dallas to eat at 60 Vines for a meeting with a management company. Then I went back to the hotel for my last classroom session, a session to prep for the holiday season!! To close out the night, we had a red carpet moment on the way into the LTK awards and afterparty. This week went by so quickly, and Iβm beyond grateful to have been invited to this yearβs conference. I met so many wonderful people and hope to attend again next year!
