5 Pairs Of Pants From Aritzia That Work If You're Petite (I'm 5'2" For Reference)
Finding petite pants that actually fit at Aritzia feels impossible — but I've done the work for you. I'm 5'2" and I'm breaking down the five best Aritzia petite pants styles, how they fit, and exactly how to style them.
The Ankle Jeans
Starting with denim because I know it is very hard to find petite jeans at Aritzia. These are technically an ankle jean, and I'm 5'2" — they are the perfect length, you guys. The leg is so flattering if you need something a little bit more slender. I love how they fit in the waist and the booty. I can wear them with a loafer, with a ballet flat. I feel like they are just so flattering all the way around.
One thing to know: they do fit a little bit snug. I got them in my normal size and I think they fit really well, but if you're between sizes and you like your jeans a little bit more loose, I would recommend sizing up.
The Cropped Tailored Pants
Even being 5'2", these are a true crop — and that is hard to come by. These are a white linen and I think they're absolutely gorgeous. I love wearing these with a sandal or a loafer, something without any heel, because you can still see a lot of my ankle. They're high-waisted, they come in so many different colors and so many different materials. You could definitely throw on a really nice belt and dress them up.
And one thing I love about these: the pockets are lined with a nude lining so you can't see the pockets through the white linen. That detail matters.
The Barrel Pull-On Pants
If you have been wanting to try a barrel style pant, this is the one. These are so comfy. They have a stretchy waistband and a chino material, so they've got really great structure. Being 5'2", I think these are a great length — you can still see my ankle. They're so flattering on.
Sizing note: if you're between sizes, I would recommend sizing down because the barrel style always runs a little bit big.
The Wide Leg Jeans
These are actually a petite length. It's a full-length style but they come in short, so I'm wearing the short inseam. They barely brush the ground, which is definitely how they're supposed to fit — that slouchy, effortless, cool girl style. These would also look really good with a heel or even a heeled boot.
If you're wanting something that's a little bit longer and a little bit more on trend right now, these are a really fun style. They do run a little bit big, so I'd recommend sizing down if you're between sizes.
The Linen Drawstring Pants
These are Aritzia's most viral pants, and I had to include them. They actually come in a short inseam now — I'm not even wearing the short inseam in this video. These are the regular inseam on me at 5'2" with a one-inch heel, and they barely brush the ground. I got these before the short inseam dropped, but I desperately need to get them in short.
I think these are the best pants because they're so comfortable. They have this really great drawstring waist and they come in so many different colors and so many different fabrics. Some of my favorites, honestly.
