5 YEARS WITH MY MOISSANITE ENGAGEMENT RING
Last week marked the 5 year anniversary of my husband Jason proposing to me with a moissanite engagement ring. I get tons of questions about where my ring is from, and how it’s holding up, so I thought I would make a little update video!
People often ask me if Moissanite is a good choice for an engagement ring, so I wanted to answer some of the most common questions I get!
Is Moissanite a good choice for an engagement ring? Yes! Moissanite is a great cost effective choice vs a real diamond engagement ring because 1) Moissanite rings have great clarity! They will not get cloudy over time. 2) They are practically indistinguishable from a mined diamond. In fact, they often appear even more brilliant then a typical mined diamond (which I actually prefer).
How do Moissanite rings hold up over time? Are Moissanite rings durable? Moissanite rings are incredibly durable! Mine has held up flawlessly over the last 5 years. Check out my video above for close ups!
Why Are Moissanite rings so cheap? Moissanite is grown in a lab, and so the typical costs associated with digging, mining, shipping and discovering do not apply to Moissanite rings.
Can you shower in your Moissanite ring? Yes! I hardly ever take my moissanite ring off. I leave it on in the shower!
