My top 5 activewear picks for summer!
Finding activewear shorts that actually work when you're petite and a runner is genuinely hard. Everything's either too long, too bulky, or just not cute enough to motivate you to lace up. I've been very into running this year and went down a full rabbit hole testing sets this summer, so let me show you my five favorites!

These Alo shorts are actually what got me into going down the rabbit hole of looking for some new activewear. I ended up buying them while we were at the beach and immediately ran in them, and I absolutely love these. They're high-waisted, so cute, and I love the logo. Even if you're not a runner, they're just a really cute pair of activewear shorts. I ended up getting the matching tank for walks or more casual workouts and I will definitely be getting more of these shorts.
Lululemon Align Scoop Waist-Length Tank Top (Size 4 in Butter Yellow) & Lululemon Shake It Out High-Rise Running Short 2.5" (Size XS in Butter Yellow)
I got a marketing email from Lululemon about this set and immediately bought it. No hesitation. I used to always wear the Hotty Hot shorts but I have been fully converted. These shorts are a little bit more wispy, they have a lining, more fabric to them so they move really well. So flattering, high-waisted, and great for running. The matching tank is super super stretchy and doesn't have a built-in bra, so I wear it over a thin sports bra. I loved this set so much that I got it in another color too, and that second version has a built-in bra which I love. It's a little bit more compressive but I think it's so cute.
Vuori AllTheFeels Corset Tank (Size XS in Sunset Pink) & Vuori Daily Speed Short 2.5" (Size XS in Sunset Pink)
This is my first pair of running shorts from Vuori and I am obsessed. They have a biker short lining with these flowy panels that split down the side, which is so flattering on. There's a great high-waist fit and I love the way it ties through the waist - it's so cute. The matching top has a built-in bra and the pink is a little bit different than what I'd normally gravitate towards, but I've been really loving color for the summer, especially in activewear.

This set is one of my favorites and I think it's so cute. The top is actually one piece - it looks like I'm wearing a white sports bra with a brown tank but they're sewn together. It gives a really fun contrasted layering look and makes it feel a little bit more elevated. The shorts are also in chocolate brown, they've got a biker short lining, very lightweight, and I just ran in these the other day. They're so comfy.
Aritzia BUTTER Agility Sports Tank (Size XS in Lemonade) & Aritzia MoveTech Dune Short (Size XS in Lemonade)
Because I've been very into yellow this summer, I had to get another set in butter yellow. It's a little bit more of a vibrant yellow than the Lululemon set. These shorts are high-waisted, very billowy and lightweight, with a shorter inseam so they're just very light. I think I actually ran my half marathon in these. The top has a built-in bra but no padding, so you might want to wear it over a sports bra if you want that extra support. They have this set in so many different colors and I really really love these shorts.
