NEW Rare Beauty Positive Light Collection
Recently I got the chance to try out Selena Gomez’s new Rare Beauty Positive Light Collection! This new line features a totally new Silky Powder Highlighter in 4 shades, a new Highlighter Brush, an under Eye Brightener, & 3 new shades of her already loved Lip Soufflé Matte Lip Cream! Lip Soufflé Matte Lip Crème
First up the Lip Soufflé! This was one of Rare Beauty’s first launches & one of my favorites from the brand. Now available in 3 new flattering shades. In my video I wore the shade Elevate which is a really gorgeous light terracotta! This shade is super flattering on light/medium skin especially with olive undertones. I was really shocked how natural this shade looks even though it’s a full coverage matte liquid lipstick. I really fell in love with the formula the first time I tried it back in 2020 - it’s a air-whipped matte formula which gives it a super lightweight, comfortable feel on the lips while also staying hydrating. Honestly I’m a huge fan of all of Rare Beauty’s lip products. If you watched my 2022 favorites video you already know that :)
Positive Light Under Eye Brightener
The new Positive Light Under Eye Brightener is one of the most unique products I’ve tried in a long time. Not to be confused with an under eye concealer - this product has a beautiful sheer, flexible coverage for those who are looking to add a bit of radiance to their skin! You can apply this by itself on a no-makeup day, or apply it over your favorite concealer for an extra brightening effect. I loved how much subtle brightness it added under my eyes! It has a metal ball applicator which gives an instant cooling sensation & it really doesn’t take a lot to achieve that wide awake look you desire. I was wearing shade light in the video & noticed an instant result!
Now onto the fun part - the new Positive Light Silky Touch Highlighter & Brush! When I tell you I was shook by this powder highlight… I mean it. This highlighter gives an instant glass-like sheen to your makeup look! If you want to see how excited I was about this highlighter you’ll have to watch the video because my expression truly says it all. This highlighter comes in 4 gorgeous shades (my favorite being Mesmerize & Exhilarate). It looks amazing on high points of the face & swept over the eyes for an instant glow. It also doesn’t settle into fine lines or skin texture! The Positive Light Precision Highlighter Brush is also the perfect companion to these highlighters - having loose enough bristles where the highlighter is able to be swept onto the face without being too flashy!
Highlighter shade Enlighten: This shade is poppin’ in the best way! I would recommend this one for those who have fair skin or it may wash you out!
Highlighter shade Mesmerize: I believe this shade would look good on most skin tones - Light to medium & even deep! It has a gorgeous rosy undertone which makes it the perfect blush topper. I think it has enough of a pink tone to it where you wouldn’t even need to wear a blush if you didn’t want to! It’s STUNNING.
Highligher shade Flaunt: Hello bronzy goodness! This shade is gorgeous on medium to deep skin. Swipe this shade over your eyes too for a cohesive sun-kissed glow!
Highlighter shade Exhilarate: My favorite shade from the line. This is the perfect highlighter for light to medium skin - with golden undertones this highlighter shade will give you an instant glow without washing you out! I love using the shade on the high points of my face, inner corner of my eyes, under my brow bone, and on my cupids bow for a lifted lip look!

The Soft Pinch Liquid Touch Blush is also one of my favorite blushes ever! A little goes a long way & way it blends out, turning from a liquid to a lightweight powder, is unmatched. I also adore their foundation, concealer, and eyeshadow brush!
