What I Got From Target as a 5’2” Petite ($38 100% cotton sweater)
Finding clothes that actually fit when you're petite is a whole thing, and Target is usually one of the hardest places to shop - especially for pants. But I found some genuinely great summer pieces, including a $38 100% cotton sweater, and you guys need to see these!
Target Crafted Scoop Neck Pullover Sweater (Size Medium in Cream)
I have to show you guys this one first. It's 100% cotton, which I love, and I actually could only find it in a medium in the store so I just grabbed that hoping it'd be a really nice oversized fit. It totally is. It's got this really wide neckline so I'll probably wear it over a tank, and it has a nice slouchy fit. There's also this nice seam that goes down the back, which is such a good detail. It comes in this pretty heathered blue with contrast stitching too, but I thought the cream was just classic. 100% cotton, classic color, great fit. I'm obsessed.
Target High Rise Regular Fit Ankle Pull On Pants (Size XS in Tan)
As someone who's petite, it is so hard to find pants that work at Target. I honestly most of the time don't even get pants at Target because they don't come in short inseams. But I found these and I'm obsessed. I'm 5'2" and they fit me perfectly. They're a cropped pant with a stretchy waist and a drawstring so you can tie them tighter. They're this great wide leg and they show just a little bit of my ankles, which is exactly what you want. The neutral beige is so wearable and comfy. I would call these very petite friendly.
Target Women's Longsleeve Relaxed Fit Collared Button-Down Shirt (Size Small in Green Striped)
This top does not look like something you would find at Target. The stripes, the color choice — it is such a cute piece. I think it would look so good tucked into a pair of denim, but I love it with the crop pants too. It's giving something way more elevated than the price tag suggests.
Target Women's Short Sleeve Eyelet Scoop Neck Blouse (Size XS in Light Blue)
I have been obsessed with blue for spring and summer and this top is such a cute piece. It's got this wide scoop neck and ties in the front. I love all the eyelet detailing in it. One thing to note — if you're between sizes, I would recommend sizing down because it does run a little bit loose. I think it looks so good with a pair of white denim.
Target Women's Sleeveless Linen Mini A-Line Dress (Size XS in Tan Striped)
I'm kind of sad to say this but I think I'm going to return it because it's a little bit big around the ribs and the bust. But it's so cute. If you can size down in this dress, I could not recommend it more. It's got this neutral stripe, a wide soft square neckline that feels really elegant, great length, pockets, and smocking in the back along with a zipper to help you get it on and off. I just wish it was a little more fitted in the top.
