Aritzia Pants Cropped vs Short vs Regular Length

Finding the right pant length when you're 5'2 is genuinely hard, and Aritzia's Lodge pants come in many different lengths, which means there's actually a real decision to make here. I tried on all three that work for petites so you don't have to guess.

Aritzia Lodge Pants Cropped Length — 23-Inch Inseam

This is the shortest of the three pairs. The cropped length has a 23-in inseam, and one thing worth knowing is that the inseam actually varies a little depending on your waist size. If you're in an extra small you're looking at around a 23-in inseam, and if you're in a medium it's closer to a 24-in inseam. I think these are the most petite friendly because they're obviously the shortest pair. These are going to be great if you're 5'2 or under. If you're taller than 5'3, I'd probably skip these and go straight to the short length instead. They're an amazing pant if you want to show your ankles.

Aritzia Lodge Pants Short Length — 28-Inch Inseam

These are the same pants but in the short inseam. On me at 5'2, these are landing at basically 27 and three-quarter inches, so essentially a 28-in inseam. Depending on your waist size it might be 1 to 2 inches longer, so definitely check the sizing before you order. These are probably my favorite length for these pants. They cover a little bit of my shoe but they don't drag on the ground, and to me that's the ideal situation at 5'2. I will say though, these sell out the quickest. So if you see them in stock, immediately grab them.

Aritzia Lodge Pants Regular Length — 30-Inch Inseam

These have a 30-in inseam, so at 5'2 I have to wear these with a little bit of a heel. I do like them when I'm planning a heel outfit because they make my legs look long. I'll be honest though, I don't reach for these all that much because I'm typically in a sandal or a flat. I'm really glad I have them as an option, but if I had to pick, the short length wins for everyday wear.

If you're petite and on the fence about which Aritzia Lodge pant length to try first, go for the short inseam — it's the one I keep coming back to, and now you know exactly why.
