Aritzia’s BEST Petite Pants - The Ultimate Petite Friendly Pant Guide (From Someone Who Is Actually 5'2")
As someone who is 5'2", finding pants that fit properly off the rack has never been easy. Especially at a brand like Aritzia, where tailoring and proportion are such a big part of the appeal. I often find the same issue: pants that fit well through the waist and hips but fall too long, or styles that technically come in shorter lengths but still feel slightly off in proportion. I have tried and tested so many pants from Aritzia, and narrowed down to 11 pairs that will actually fit a petite frame. Aritzia The Lodge Pant Cropped
Pants: 2XS in Undyed Ecru, Top: XS in Light Birch
These Aritzia Lodge Pant Cruiselinen Cropped Length are the most petite friendly out of the viral Lodge pants that they sell. The size I’m wearing is in a 24 inch inseam and they are perfect for those who are 5’2 and under. Be aware that the inseam fluctuates as you increase the size. You can wear these with flat shoes like the Everlane The Day Crossover Sandal no problem, and they come in so many different colors and fabrics, it’s the perfect versatile pant. I paired it with the Aritzia Croqeut Sweater Vest, a great staple for the spring and summer months. For my bag I am wearing the Madewell The Brioche Shoulder Bag.
Aritzia The Lodge Pant Short
Pants: 2XS in Martini Olive, Top: Size 0 in Martini Olive
This next pant, the Aritzia Lodge Pant Cruiselinen in Short Length, is the next size and is perfect for petite sizes. These are the hardest to get you hands on because they sell out super fast, be sure to follow my instagram as I post when they get restocked. These pants come in a 28 inch inseam and a linen material, perfect for hotter weather. They hit at a great spot, long enough to cover some of the shoes but not dragging on the ground. I love wearing these pants in a matching set with the Aritzia Aperitvo Top Crepette. I finished off the look with matching brown tones with my Margaux The MX Sandal, and Sezane Milo Classic Bag.
Aritzia THe Lodge Pant REgular
Pants: XS in Undyed Ecru, Top: Size 2 in Plain Ecru Embroidery
The Aritzia Lodge Pant Cruiselinen in Regular Length is the longest of the lodge pant that I own, and I do have to wear them with a heel. I would say if you are under 5’2 pass on these and stick with the shorter versions of the lodge pant. I do really love this length when wearing a heel because they elongate my legs and look more formal. I love wearing it with this Sezane Dauphie Top, it’s the perfect flowly tank for the warmer months. I finished off the look with my Sezane Ilaria Sandals, and Nordstrom Small Crossbody Bag.
Aritzia The Effortless Pant Cropped
Pants: Size 0 in Dark Olive, Top: XS in Black and Ivory Mini Stripe
If you’re looking for a petite workwear pant, the Aritiza Effortless Pants Crepette in Cropped Length is your one. The cropped length is in a 24inch inseam in the crepette fabric. This fabric is a wrinkle resistance fabric and in a relaxed style, making it perfect for work or travel. I paired it with the Madewell Boatneck Sleeveless Sweater, and my Madewell The Ashley Ruched Loafer in Suede.
Aritzia The Effortless Pant Short
Pants: Size 0 in White, Top: Size 2 in Contrasting Ecru Embroidery on Sky Blue Background
This is the Aritzia The Effortless Pant Crepette in Short Length, and it comes in a 30 inch inseam. They do sit longer on me and need to be worn with heels. This style in crepette is a nicer style to dress up and is perfect for work. The Sezane Dorrit Blouse is a light weight blouse, great for the summer months. I paired it with my favorite spring bag, the Sezane Justine Basket Bag.
Aritzia The New Agency Pant Short
Pants: Size 00 in Black, Top: XS in Cream/Black
I want to get these Aritzia New Agency Pants in Short Length in every single color. They have a shorter inseam than the effortless pant, and have a more narrow fit making them a flattering petite pant. I paired it with this fun English Factory Crochet Lace Feather Trim Top. These pants are great because they look good dressed up or down. I’m wearing them with the Nordstrom Block Heel Sandal and they hit at a great length.
Aritzia Denim Forum GEena Hi-Rise STraight Ankle Jean
Jeans: Size 24 in Vintage Light Blue (if you’re in between sizes I recommend sizing up), Top: Size 2 in Ecru
These Aritzia Denim Forum Geena Hi-Rise Straight Ankle Jean are the shortest jean style that I own from aritzia, and are technically an ankle jean. But coming in at 5’2 they are the perfect narrow leg jean for me. Because they are a little more snug, I do recommend sizing up in these jeans if you are in between sizes. Narrower jeans look great paired with a flowy top like the Sezane Charlina Blouse. I love these jeans paired with my Sezane Low Nala Ballerinas.
Aritzia Denim Forum The Farrah Hi-Rise Wide Ankle Jean
Jeans: Size 23 in 15 yrs brl thr bleu, Top: Size XS in Light Birch
The Aritzia Denim Forum The Farrah Hi-Rise Wide Ankle Jean is a high waisted, wide leg denim. I like sizing down in wide leg jeans for a tighter fit around the waist. These hit at a perfect length and I like that they’re not too wide leg, they are really flattering for petite frames. I’m wearing my Aritzia Cotton Charm Wentworth Sweater Vest on top, and my Madewell The Mila Organic Hardware Thong Slide Sandal, and Madewell The Signature Woven Tote as accessories!
Aritzia Denim Forum The Farrah Hi-Rise Wide Jean in Short
Jeans: Size 24 7 yrs bleu taboo, Top: 2XS in Lemonade
These Aritzia Denim Forum The Farrah Hi-Rise Wide Jean in Short Length are the short length version and are around a 29inch inseam. I can wear these with sneakers or heels like the Nordstrom Block Heel Sandal. I would say if you are under 5’2 maybe pass on these unless you plan on only wearing them with heels. The wide leg style give you the cool girl look while still being flattering for a petite person. I’m wearing it with my Aritzia Bare Cashmere Monogram Sweater Vest, and Quince Italian Leather Soft Bucket Shoulder Bag.
Aritzia Walkaway Pant
Pants: 2XS in Black, Top: XS in Brown
This might be one of the coolest pants Aritzia has made. The Aritzia Walkaway Pant is a cropped pant with a really beautiful pleating in the front and a slight taper at the ankle, making a stunning silhouette. I love dressing these up with my Nordstrom Blusa Lina Cape Top, and Quince Italian Leather 70mm Strappy Black heal. These would be a perfect work pant or event pant, as they are so fun to style!
Pants: 2XS in Hourglass Tan, Top: XS in Madeleine
My final pant is the Aritzia Imagine Barrel Pant. These barrel style pants are perfect for petite frames as they are a cropped pant. These are a mid rise style, so I did size down in them for a more snug fit. These are super easy to slip on and are so comfortable. I paired it with my Sezane Methilda Top, Everlane The Day Crossover Sandal, and J Crew Como Woven Straw Tote.
