Best Abercrombie Coats and Jackets For Fall and Winter | Second Trimester Maternity Outfit Ideas

The leaves are fully changing in Nashville, which means it’s time to break out all of the cozy sweaters and coats. That’s why this week’s video could not have come at a more perfect time. Abercrombie asked me to share with y’all some of my favorite coats and sweaters from their site, which is perfect, because they are also having a huge sale on all these items just in time for the temps to drop.

In case you are new to my site, I am 19 weeks pregnant, and just starting to show over the last few weeks. I tried to pick out some longer sweaters to pair with the Abercrombie Maternity jeans I features in a few of the outfits. It has been a huge challenge finding pieces that are flattering & comfortable as my bump continues to grow, but happy to report these Abercrombie maternity jeans fit the bill! Also if you are more on the petite side like I am (I’m 5’2” ) this video is FOR YOU! I’m sharing the best coats and jackets for more petite frames :)

The video is sponsored by Abercrombie, but this blog post is not, so I will be sure to share with you all of my thoughts on sizing & fit. As always, I will have the outfits I styled up laid out in an easy to process format. I do earn a small commission (at no additional cost to you) if you choose to shop via the links below. Doing so helps me continue to make these videos for you, and it also shows the brand that you appreciate these videos.

Outfit 1

Coat: XXS in Dark Brown, Sweater: XS in Brown, Jeans: 24 Short in Light

Outfit 1 for this haul features the most incredible chocolate brown sherpa mock-neck jacket. This jacket has so many fun details, like the faux leather piping around the outside. Chocolate brown is and will always be the color of the seasons, so this jacket came at the perfect time! I’m also loving this easy crew neck sweater. It is a longer length sweater then I normally reach for, but now that I am in maternity land, I find myself searching sweaters like this one. This one is true to the name: it’s just a classic sweater in a classic color! Also I want to highlight these black boots because they’re perfect - I love the fit and the classic western style! They’re also from Abercrombie :)

Outfit 2

Coat: XS in Brown, Sweater: XS in Beige, Jeans: 24 Short in Light

Outfit 2 features this amazing blanket coat that gets it’s name because it doesn’t have a lining on the inside. It’s so flexible and cozy and has belt around the outside which makes it feel more like a robe! I’ve got it paired with this long turtle neck sweater, which perfectly covers the maternity jeans from Abercrombie. I’m loving these jeans for where I am at in my pregnancy (19 weeks), but I also think they are going to be able to grow as my baby does (which any good maternity pant should do!). These maternity jeans are making me feel a little more normal as my body changes!

Outfit 3

Coat: XS Petite in Black, Dress: XS Petite in Brown

Outfit 3 is a tried and true combo, especially if you are pregnant like me! I have been reaching for sweater dresses a lot more lately, not just because they are comfortable, but also because I will be able to wear them when I am done with my pregnancy! I also can wear my normal size (an XS Petite) and they just work. Abercrombie has had some of my favorite sweater dresses lately, I even wore this one in our pregnancy announcement photo! On top I’ve got a pure black wool coat on. I specifically like that this coat doesn’t have any colored threads or texture. It really elevates the look, especially paired with these black chelsea boots from Abercrombie.

Outfit 4

Shirt: XS in Dark Brown, Sweater Dress: XS in Brown

If you have been following me on my instagram, you may recognize this shirt from my husband and I’s babymoon trip to Italy. I wore the heck out of this oversized vegan leather shirt in black, and so when I saw they had it in chocolate brown, I couldn’t resist. It’s such a sturdy material, and makes for such a cute layering piece. I’ve got it layered over the same sweater dress as outfit 3 here and I am LIVING for the brown monochrome moment here.

Outfit 5

Coat: XS Petite in Cream, Sweater Dress: XS Petite in Black

Our last look for this haul features another take on the recipe from outfit 3. I have been loving this full length sweater dress from Abercrombie. The button detailing down the side is such a fun look! Paired with this long sleeve tailored top coat, which if you are petite like me, looks like I had it perfectly fitted to my body. It is such a flattering and elevated piece!
