Best Spring Baby Shower Dresses | What to wear for your upcoming baby shower!
Hey Y’all! Welcome back to my blog. This past weekend Jason and I had our big Nashville baby shower with all of our friends and family. It was such a special time getting to celebrate our little girl with everyone we love! I’m so grateful for all the people in our life, and I really can’t emphasize how special of a morning it was. While the main agenda for the day was celebrating our little one, I also took it as an opportunity to try out a bunch of new dresses for the shower! I thought I would go ahead and film the try-on because honestly while I was looking for dress options, I couldn’t help but notice how hard it was to find dresses that work with the bump that aren’t weird looking maternity dresses. I wanted to be able to wear whatever I got post pregnancy as well, so I made sure to find 9 bump friendly dress options that aren’t specifically for pregnancy!

Abercrombie Emerson Poplin Puff Sleeve Midi Dress

First up in our haul is the Abercrombie Emerson Poplin Puff Sleeve Midi Dress. Full disclosure, my best friend Mary Helen wore an adorable blue version of this dress for her baby shower a few months ago, and I was obsessed with it. I wanted to go with something a little more feminine feeling because we are having a girl, and I thought this strawberry print was so adorable. What I love about this dress is that the bust hits perfectly at the top of my bump. The skirt is super flowey, and the puff sleeves just make it so beautiful. I took a poll on my Instagram as to which dress I should wear for the shower, and this was y’all top pick. Abercrombie keeps this style around year after year, but they are always introducing new prints and colors. For my shoes I’m wearing my Dolce Vita Noel Heels!
Petal & Pup Camryn Puff Sleeve Knit Sweater Midi Dress
Size small in ivory
Dress number two is the Petal & Pup Camryn Puff Sleeve Midi Sweater Dress. I am so obsessed with the shoulders on this dress, it reminds me of a padded blazer and just give the dress so much shape. I also thought the long sleeves on here were a pretty (and functional) option for a winter or early spring baby shower! For my shoes I am wearing the Dolce Vita Kanika Crystal Heels Light Gold Fabric.
Petal & Pup Edwina Shirred Frill Long Sleeve Midi Dress
size small in navy floral
Dress number three is the Petal & Pup Edwina Shirred Frill Long Sleeve Midi Dress. I got it in this stunning navy floral, but is also comes in cream floral. I was drawn to this dress because of the sheer sleeves. It’s such a light and airy design that is so stunning for a baby shower, or anything else you may need a dress for! For my shoes I am wearing the Everlane Day Twist Heels. These heels are super comfy which is important if you’re pregnant :)

Dress four is the Petal & Pup Brea Maxi Dress in tan stripe. This dress is your classic maxi dress (if you’re more on the petite side like me)! I love the pattern because it really shows off the bump, and the skirt has so much room in it making it the perfect summer baby shower or baby moon dress! I picture wearing this dress to dinner by the beach with sandals! For my shoes I have on the Dolce Vita Noel Heels.
Everlane The Cotton Merino Turtleneck Dress
I sized up two sizes to a size small, however, I would recommend sticking with your normal size, as this dress is super stretchy.
Dress five is the cotton merino turtleneck dress from Everlane. This dress is SO stunning. It’s the perfect burnt orange/brown color, and it has the most perfect turtleneck. It’s just so classy and elegant, I am obsessed. As mentioned above, I definitely could have gotten my normal size, as the material is super stretchy. I think it still works regardless! For my shoes I have on the Alohas East Beige Leather Boots.
Petal & Pup Annette Puff Sleeve Shirred Midi Dress

Dress six is the Petal & Pup Annette Puff Sleeve Shirred Midi Dress. This is a stunning cotton dress that works super well for maternity & none maternity alike! Like the first dress, the bust is fitted, while the skirt is loose and open, which makes it super comfy. The stand out feature on this dress however is obviously the exaggerated puff sleeves. Look at those things!!! It’s such a precious dress, and in white, it’s a can’t lose. For my shoes I’m wearing the Dolce Vita Kanika Crystal Heels Light Gold Fabric.
Zimmerman Chintz Billow Frill Mini Dress
size 1
Dress seven is the Zimmerman Chintz Billow Frill Mini Dress. Zimmerman is a newer brand to me, I discovered them while doing some shopping on Shopbop. They are a higher end price point, but y’all the dresses are SO good. This floral tiered dress is so playful and flirty, and works great with the bump! I love that it’s long sleeve, but the length makes it feel light and airy! I definitely got this dress on SALE and with the plan of wearing it post pregnancy. How cute would it be with sandals in the spring with out little girl on me in her linen wrap carrier ❤️ ohhh I can’t wait!

Dress eight is the Abercrombie sheer maxi dress. Spoiler alert, this is the dress I ended up going with for the baby shower, and honestly I was really not expecting to like this one as much as I did. Something about the dainty yarn lacing, full length, and turtleneck just made this dress feel so special. I love that it showcases the bump, without just being a predictable sweater dress. Can not recommend this dress highly enough! For my shoes, I’m wearing the Dolce Vita Kanika Crystal Heels Light Gold Fabric.
Petal & Pup Narella Midi Dress

The last dress option I was toying with is this Petal & Pup Marella Midi Dress. This dress is unique because it’s actually a two part set. There’s a tank dress, and a long sleeve twist top that goes on top. It’s all tied together with orange piping that makes the set feel retro/futuristic vibes. The slit on the side is a nice detail as well! For my shoes I am wearing the Everlane Day Twist Heels.
