7 Outfits For Your Week Episode 4: Maternity Edition!

Hi Y’all! Welcome back to another 7 outfits for your week! As you may have guessed, episode 4 is the maternity edition! I loved making these videos for you guys before I was showing, so I thought it would be fun to put together 7 outfits that I could see getting you through the early parts of your third trimester. What’s so great about so many of these pieces is that they are not actually maternity! That being said, there are of course some maternity bottoms, including these treggings (yes you read that word right) from Walmart. Y’all I was seriously not expecting to like Walmart’s maternity stuff as much as I have, but as I get deeper into my pregnancy, it’s what I’m reaching for more and more. It’s SUPER comfy and seriously affordable (talking $16 for a pair of pants), which if we’re being honest, is how I want to spend as I won’t be wearing these bottoms forever.

As usual, I will have everything laid out below in an easy to understand format, and I will be sure to include any sizing notes as well. As a reminder, I am 5’2” for reference. If you choose to shop via the links below, I do receive a small commission (at no additional cost to you), which helps support our growing family and allows me to keep making these videos for y’all! Seriously so grateful for you guys. I’ve received to many encouraging DMs & comments on Youtube throughout this pregnancy that truly makes me feel like I am journeying through this with you. No matter how long you have been a part of this community, I’m happy to have you!

Outfit 1

Dress: Small in Beige, Cardigan: XS

Outfit 1 features the the Everlane Viscose Knit Polo Midi Dress. I love the collar on this one, as well as the short sleeves. This is not a maternity specific dress, but is working for me at 31 weeks pregnant. It is super comfy! Layered on top of the dress is my Jenni Kayne Cashmere Cocoon Cardigan. Y’all Jenni Kanye sweaters are simply my favorite of all time. The quality is unmatched, and the fit is just so perfectly oversized. If you choose to splurge on one of their pieces, you will not regret it!

Outfit 2

Cardigan: Medium, Tank: XS, Bottoms: Small

If you are obsessed with Jenni Kayne like I am, but you clicked on the link above and had sticker shock, have I got the piece for you! This oversized Cardigan from Walmart is only $24, and is a similar style and fit. Is it the same quality as Jenni Kayne… negative. HOWEVER, this is more of a statement about how nice Jenni Kayne is then anything else. This is a perfectly fine sweater that I have been living in lately. During pregnancy, one of my symptoms has been itchy, dry skin. I’ve been wearing lots of creams as a result of that, and having a sweater that makes me feel wrapped up, but that I’m not worried about ruining with my needy skin has been a game changer. Outfit 2 also features a new brand to me called Embrace. This is a maternity & nursing specific brand that a few friends had told me about, so I was pumped to try this tank. It’s super comfy and soft, and stretches in all the places I need it to, so thumbs up from me!

These $16 maternity pants from Walmart need a paragraph of their own! These are probably my most worn maternity pants so far, and I truly could not recommend them more. They are a straight leg maternity pant and are actually a jegging (I know cringe). However, if you find maternity jeans to be uncomfortable or if you’re needing a good work pant these are it!!!

Outfit 3

Top: XS, Skirt: XS

Outfit 3 features this incredible shearling top and skirt set. The material is sooooo cozy, and stretches great for maternity, even though it is not a maternity specific piece. I love matching sets like this too because you can get more wear out of them by wearing them separate as well. Also in this look are a new pair of boots to me, the Everlane banana heel boot. These fun croc boots are so sleek and go with literally everything!

Outfit 4

Sweater: Medium , Bottoms: Small

Outfit 4 features the infamous Walmart treggings. I’m gonna shoot y’all straight, I had no idea that treggings existed. Of course I had heard of jeggings (shoutout 2009), but I didn’t know it was possible to combine trousers and leggings. These are an incredible maternity work pant option an only $18! If you’ve followed me for any amount of time, you will know how obsessed I am with the Abercrombie Sloane tailored pant. I was crushed when I no longer fit in my favorite trousers, but finding these stretchy trousers has helped soften the blow.

Outfit 5

Top: Medium, Bottoms: Small

Outfit 5 features a pair of faux leather leggings from Walmart. This video is not supposed to be a Walmart haul, but man have I been wearing their maternity pants. I’ve got this paired with a longer, side slit sweater from from Walmart, and my new Sezane Milo bag. This bag feels like a designer bag, without the full designer price tag. I’ve had multiple girls at events ask me if it was a Celine bag (which I’m flattered by, I die over Celine). You can check out my full unboxing here!

Outfit 6

Dress: small, Jacket: XS

Outfit 6 features this stunning ribbed tank dress from Everlane. I sized up in this dress, but honestly just order your normal size, even if you are pregnant. The material is super stretchy, so I would have been good in my normal size, which is an XS. On top of the dress I have one of my favorite leather jackets from Madewell. Unfortunately, I can no longer zip it closed because of the bump, but it still provides a nice statement on top. I love simple knit dresses like this because you ave so many layering options!

Outfit 7

Top: Medium, Bottoms: Small

For our final look of the week, I went full cozy. Outfit 7 features some maternity leggings from Amazon. I was able to wear my Lululemon align leggings through my second trimester and early days of my third trimester, but as I’ve gotten deeper in tri 3, I have needed some legit maternity bottoms, and these leggings have been great! My top is the YPB neoKNIT MAX Half-Zip from Abercrombie, It’s cropped, but with the maternity leggings, I think it works! Be sure to size up in the half-zip for a more slouchy fit!
