2023 Fall Lookbook - My Favorite Styling Video Of The Year
Fall is here which means it’s time for my favorite video of the year - my fall lookbook! I can not stress how much I enjoy making this video every year, for some reason I feel like my style just comes alive in the fall. For this video I polled y’all on my Instagram for some looks that you wanted to see, and you guys spoke! I had a bunch of you request sweater dresses, cargos, and of course fall layering ideas!
This video features pieces from all of my favorite brands like Madewell, Abercrombie, Revolve and more! For each outfit I have laid out the pieces featured, and I included my sizing info, and other options if something is sold out! I do receive a small commission if you choose to shop via the links below, which goes towards helping me continue to make these videos for you guys! Enjoy the video!
Outfit 1
Top: XXS, Bottoms: 24 Short in Dark Green
Starting off the fall lookbook, outfit 1 features these incredible dark green ultra high rise jeans from Abercrombie. What I love about colored denim is that they are a statement all on their own. Often times you can pair them with timeless, neutral pieces that takes the guesswork out of putting together an outfit. For this look I am letting the green do the talking by pairing these with a simple warm brown top & accessories. I love the little white details on the top, I think it’s so pretty! Also this warm brown/mahogany color has been really speaking to me this season, so you’ll probably be seeing it a lot more in my wardrobe!
Outfit 2
Outfit 2 features this stunning satin skirt from Abercrombie that is a part of my friend Kathleen Post’s new curated collection! The print on this skirt is so dark and moody, it’s literally perfect for fall! I’ve got it paired with a classic cream turtleneck using a little trick to make the sweater hit where I want it to on my body. I like to wear these free people tank bras underneath my sweaters and then tuck the sweater up under the bra. I have a whole video here where I explain how I do this! This trick also works for wearing sweaters over dresses! I think the dark skirt pairs really nicely with these new cream western boots from Madewell!
Outfit 3
Cargos have been so in lately, and these relaxed cargo pants from Abercrombie are the perfect take on this trend in my opinion. They fit snug in the places you would want them to (the hips & booty), but loose around the lower legs. They’re also a longer pant and totally nail that sassy 90s vibe! This is another example of fun, statement pants allowing for simple pairings. I also do want to mention the Lululemon quilted bucket bag - this thing is so cool! Every time it restocks on the site, it sells out, so be sure to get on the waitlist here!
Outfit 4
Trench: XXS, Sweater: XS, Bottoms: 24 Short
Outfit 4 is a great work wear idea! If you’ve followed me for a while now, you know how obsessed I am with Abercrombie’s tailored pants. These new cuffed hem wide-leg tailored pants are so dreamy! The cuff detail along the bottom is a fun little detail. You can check out my full Abercrombie trousers comparison video here to learn more about all the different tailored pants they offer! Also a trench coat is a timeless staple. If you don’t have one in your wardrobe I would suggest grabbing one. They’re lightweight and the perfect piece for layering over your favorite sweaters.
Outfit 5
Dress: XS
Outfit 5 features this adorable grey quarter zip sweater dress from Revolve. I had a bunch of you guys request this look, so here it is! When it comes to sweater dresses, I don’t like to over complicate it. I think a simple pair of brown leather boots and a brown bag to match does the job nicely! I’ve linked some other great sweater dresses - let’s be honest you really cant go wrong with any of them!
Outfit 6
Vest: XXS, Button Down: XXS, Jeans: 23 Petite
Have y’all noticed the oversized top trend this fall? I feel like all of the website models these days are wearing untucked tops. If you’ve followed me for a while, you’ll know I tend to gravitate towards cropped and fitted tops, but outfit 6 is me trying something new! I actually like this look alot! The oversized sweater vest on top of the white button down feels polished, yet casual. I’ve got it paired with my black gucci loafers, and this black Madewell bag that fits right in with the designer shoes. This bag punches in way above it’s weight in my opinion.
Outfit 7
Fall is back and so are my favorite leather pants, the Abercrombie vegan leather straight pants. These pants are simply how a leather pant should fit, especially if you are petite like me. They come in an extra short version too, which is so nice!! They are flattering, but I find I still have decent mobility in them! For outfit 7 I also have a new pair of Madewell western chelsea boots in white. These are seriously so stunning and high quality, I love the pointed toe for fall!
Outfit 8
Look 8 is the perfect fall look if in your heart it is fall, but where you life is telling you other wise. This Madewell skirt is the perfect fall tone, while the mockneck sweater tee from Abercrombie satisfies the sweater craving we all have this time of year, without making you sweat. For my shoes I’m wearing an older pair of Madewell heeled loafers. They no longer make these, but I’ve linked a similar pair on Abercrombie! I’ve also got these adorable scalloped edge socks from target that are perfect for making a statement with a pair of loafers like this! I’m tying it all together with my vintage Chanel lambskin medium double flap bag. Mine is from the 90s, and the leather is just so buttery and soft! I’ve linked a great deal on a similar vintage on here if you are in the market!
Outfit 9
Vest: Size 4 in Trench, Sweatshirt: Small (sized up 2 sizes for oversized fit), Bottoms: Size 4
Y’all knew this was coming - my Lululemon wunderpuff vest in Trench! I first saw this vest while on a trip to San Diego (video here) with my husband last year, and I was obsessed!! The vest has a removable hood and is the puffiest, softest material I’ve ever felt. I don’t even know how to describe it, but if you’ve never tried Lululemon’s wunderpuff fabric, I would highly recommend it! I’m wearing the vest on top of this oversized Abercrombie crewneck that is super cozy! For my bottoms I’m rocking Lululemon’s iconic mini flare pants. Here is your monthly reminder that Lululemon offers complimentary alterations. I got these altered to fit my 5’2” frame, and they are perfect now!!
Outfit 10
Blazer: XS, Top: XS, Pants: 23 Petite
Outfit 10 is the edgy look of the group, thanks to this black leather blazer from Kathleen Post’s Abercrombie collection. This jacket has so much attitude, I am obsessed! Paired here with these stunning Emmett 2.0 Wide Leg pants from Madewell in the most perfect burnt orange for fall. I love the look of all black accessories against the pants, I think it really helps the Orange pop! I’m also loving the Darcy Ankle boot from Madewell this season. They’re slightly sleeker then a chelsea because instead of elastic on the sides, they have a zipper that’s hidden on the inside of the boot. They’re also slightly taller then a chelsea, which makes them a great option for mixing things up this fall!
Outfit 11
Cardigan: XS, Tank: size 00, Pants: XXS
Did y’all honestly think we were not going to have a chocolate brown moment in this lookbook!? I feel outfit 11 has my favorite combination of fall tones. The brown from the cardigan, the green from the Everlane dream pant, and this stunning suede mule in mustard yellow is really so good. These heeled mules from Madewell are my vibe for fall this year, they are just so good and so unique. They also come in other incredible colors, but I love the color I got!
Outfit 12
Outfit 12 features these dreamy brown corduroy pants from Madewell. Unfortunately, Madewell no longer carries the perfect vintage jean in corduroy, but I was able to find a similar brown pair at target, which are linked here! My thesis for the rest of this outfit? Monochrome brown edition. I love how each shade of brown is slightly different between the Jenni Kayne Cardigan, the Revolve sweater vest, and Dolce Vita Senna Boots, and my Gucci chain wallet. When in doubt go monochrome or all brown :)
Outfit 13
Cardigan: XS, Turtleneck: XS, Shorts: XS
For our last look, I wanted to find a way to feature these stunning leather shorts from Revolve, and what better way then with a pair of tights (here is your reminder to grab a new pair for the fall, you and I both know the pair you have in your drawer has a hole somewhere lol). For this look, I love the way the single button cardigan draws your eyes to the neck of the Everlane Turtleneck. Tying is all together are some brown accessories that seem to make every outfit just work for fall! Also Dolce Vita has a ton of really great knee high boots right now if you’re looking for a pair for the fall & winter.

Finding activewear that actually fits when you're petite is tricky, but luckily Lululemon seems to always have what I need! This haul has the perfect summer pieces for exercising or just running errands - petite approved (I’m 5’2). Plus this butter yellow color might be one of the best colors to wear in the summer!
