Lululemon Second Trimester Maternity Haul: Best Lululemon Pieces for Pregnancy

I am officially 20 weeks pregnant, and over the last 2 weeks especially, my bump has really started to show! It’s such a surreal thing to watch my body change before my eyes. For so long it didn’t feel like my bump was ever going to pop out, but all of a sudden - poof! There it is. There has been so much change in our lives lately as well as we prepare for our child to enter the world (more on that later). While my body may be changing, and some things in our personal life as well, my sense of style remains the same, which had me asking my husband while on our Italian baby moon β€œdo you think I’ll still be able to wear Lululemon while I’m pregnant”? His response: β€œOnly one way to find out honey”.

This haul features some items that I’ve had my eye on pre-pregnancy (like the reversible crossover sweater), and some things that I thought would be a good fit as my body continues to change. If you’ve been around on my page for a while now, you will know how much of a fan I am of the align line from Lululemon. This fabric is just perfect. It breathes, it stretches, and honestly it feels like you have nothing on! Lululemon also released their iconic mini flare pants in an extra short inseam, which I am so pumped about! If you are petite like me (I’m 5’2”), these are the perfect length for you!

As always I have everything below laid out in a visual format so that you can easily understand what pieces are in each outfit. I do earn a small commission (at no additional cost to you) if you choose to shop via the links below. Doing so helps me to continue making these videos for you guys, which I am so grateful to be able to do. Enjoy the video below, and feel free to leave me a comment on youtube or on this blog post if you have any questions about sizing!

Outfit 1

Top: Size 4 in white opal (but bone is available), Bottoms: size 4 in espresso 25in

Kicking things off on this maternity Lululemon haul are the align leggings in espresso! Lululemon has so many good browns these days. Espresso is their cooler toned brown, and I am obsessed! I got these in my normal non-pregnancy size and they fit great! They don’t feel tight or constricting at all. Paired here with my scuba half zip in bone, and a new belt bag, the clean lines 2L bag. This belt bag is for those who aren’t quite basic enough to reach for the classic everywhere belt bag, which is probably why my husband wore this the whole time on our trip to Italy! Personally there isn’t a belt bag I’ve found that I haven’t liked, but it’s awesome that lululemon offers so many different styles of their iconic, functional bag!

Outfit 2

Vest: Size 4 in Trench, Sweatshirt: size 4 in White Opal, Bottoms: Size 4 in Java Extra Short

If you’ve been following me for a while, you will know that this spring I discovered that Lululemon will alter their bottoms for free at any of their physical locations. Being petite, I often find myself going in to get pants altered. I’m happy to report, Lululemon finally came out with their iconic mini flare pant in extra short, which is the perfect length if you are 5’4” or shorter. These pants feel like they were made for me, because not only are they the perfect length, but they also come in my favorite Lululemon color Java. Paired here with my wunderpuff cropped vest, and this incredible quilted crossbody bag. This bag is literally always sold out, but be sure to sign up for the email notifications on Lululemon’s site, because they often to restocks. I try to also post about the restocks over on my Instagram.

Outfit 3

Jacket: Size 4 in Bone, Shirt: Size 4 in Nomad, Bottom: Size 6 in Dark Olive 25in inseam

For outfit 3 I wanted to know the difference between sizing up to a size 6 vs my normal size align leggings (a size 4). These align leggings in dark olive honestly feel so similar to a size 4. They have just a little more room in the waist which will be nice for the growing bump. That’s something I love about the align fabric, is no matter your body type, or your preference on things fitting tight or loose, the align leggings find a way to be super flattering. I’ve got them paired with this adorable wind breaker I got on our trip to whistler this spring. I talk about this in the video, but it has a hood that you can fold up into the collar, and it’s just a really flattering piece that is perfect for these transitional fall days. Cooler weather means finally getting to break out my fleece everywhere belt bag. This was actually my first belt bag that I ever purchased, and it’s still one of my favorites, because it’s just so cozy!

Outfit 4

Sweater: Size 4 in Heathered Nomad, Pants: Size 4 in Java

Outfit 4 features this amazing wool-blend sweater from Lululemon. I’ve always wanted to try their sweaters, but for some reason I was on the fence about it. I mean, they are an active wear brand after all so something about a traditional sweater from Lululemon felt strange. I’m happy to report that this sweater is SOOOOO soft and cozy, and it going to be a wardrobe staple for me this fall and winter. I got it in the color heathered nomad, which I think goes perfectly with my java mini flares. This is such a low maintenance second trimester outfit, and the best part is - I will be able to wear all of this postpartum because I got all of these pieces in my normal size!

Outfit 5

Top: Size 8 in Espresso, Bottoms: Size 4 in Espresso

A few months ago I was in the Nashville Lululemon store killing some time, and I came across this reversible crossover sweater in a neon red color. While I wasn’t a huge fan of the color, I was obsessed with the way this piece fit, and the added versatility of it being reversible. Fast forward a few months, and I noticed that the reversible crossover sweater was available in espresso, and that it was on sale (still is)! I am obsessed with the fit of this sweater. It’s so fun that the crossover can accent my bump, or add some excitement to the back of an outfit. I intentionally sized up in this for an oversized fit. In the store I tried on up to a 12 and liked the way it looked, but ended up landing on an 8 as the perfect middle ground on me.

Outfit 6

Bodysuit: Size 6

Outfit 6 is what I’m going to refer to from here on out as a power suit. I mean seriously, what is more powerful that roaming around in a sleek black body suit, bump poking through and all. I went ahead and sized up in this so that I could continue to wear it as my bump grows. Paired here with my city adventure 2.5L belt bag in trench, and my Lululemon strongfeel trainers. I would have definitely gotten a size 4 if I weren’t pregnant!

Outfit 7

Fleece: Size 4 in Nomad, Bodysuit: Size 6

I have truly saved the best for last in this haul, because this textured cinchiable fleece from Lululemon is INSANE. It is so cozy and soft, so perfectly oversized. I will be living in this fall and winter. I ordered it in my normal size which is a size 4. Wearing it over my align bodysuit, this is such a look!
