Madewell New Spring Arrivals
I am back with another Madewell haul for Spring! This haul features some great new linen pieces as well as a few dresses that would be prefect wedding guest dresses. Outfit 1
Wearing size 00 in the shorts, size XXS in top, Size XS in Cardigan
In this first look I style up Madewell’s new high waisted linen shorts. This color is such a dreamy brown (the color of the season)! Putting it together with this striped tank and cardigan set with the orange stripes pairs so nice! Also new for this spring are these woven sandals. I’ve always loved Madewell’s open toed shoes for spring and summer!
Outfit 2
Wearing XXS in top & size 00 in the shorts
Outfit 2 features this adorable crocheted high neck tank! This is such a beautiful cut, the high neck is so polished. Also new for the spring is this large woven tote. If you have any experience with Madewell’s totes, like my favorite the woven medium transport tote, you will know that they are typically not lined. This new tote is not only lined, but it has a magnetic closure at the top to make the large size slightly more manageable (seriously this thing is HUGE), but not too big for even my petite frame.
Outfit 3
Wearing a size 00 in the color “Olive Surplus”
Outfit 3 is this beautiful one-shoulder dress! Lots to love about this dress. It has pockets! Every dress should have pockets. It is also belted in the middle, which is awesome if you’re petite like me and want to add shape. This dress is technically a midi, but because I’m only 5’2”, it wears a little longer than that. Something to keep in mind if you are on the shorter end like me! It also comes in white, which would be perfect if you are a bride for a shower or rehearsal dinner!!
Outfit 4
Wearing a size XXS in the top, size 00 in bottoms
Outfit 4 features this adorable floral set! This set in particular is one of my favorites I’ve seen this spring because it has a skort! Skorts are so fun because you get the polished look of a skirt in the front, without any of the hassle of worrying that comes with a linen skirt in the spring. Paired with a new teva inspired leather sandal from Madewell, this is such a cute outfit for grabbing coffee or catching up with a friend!
Outfit 5
Wearing an XS in top, XXS in bottoms
Outfit 5 features my only sizing error of this haul. Typically with Madewell I recommend sizing down 1 size (if you’re between sizes), as their stuff usually runs large. With this yellow crop top, I decided to order an XS instead of an XXS like I usually do, but it is still much too small for my comfort level. I’m not sure why this top in particular runs so small, but something to be aware of if you are looking for a cute spring crop tank! I love the style of the tank though, the knot in the front is so beautiful!
Outfit 6
Wearing a size 00 in the color “Aloe”
Our last outfit of the haul features this beautiful green midi dress! Again, due to my height, this dress wears slightly longer than a normal midi, so something to keep in mind if you are on the shorter end like me! I do think it’s a nice length though!! I picture wearing this dress to a summer wedding! Paired with my Black Madewell sandals and this Black Madewell top handled bag. I think black accessories pair great with this color - plus I clearly like this color since it’s almost identical to our bedroom curtains lol
Finding activewear that actually fits when you're petite is tricky, but luckily Lululemon seems to always have what I need! This haul has the perfect summer pieces for exercising or just running errands - petite approved (I’m 5’2). Plus this butter yellow color might be one of the best colors to wear in the summer!
